Sanctuaire Chaché
A concept of a luxury vacation home designed for Dr. Temple Grandin. Located in New Mexico, this home bases its design on stimulation theory in order to cater to Grandin’s unique needs as an Autistic person while providing spaces for living and her work.
The Concept
Using simulation theory as a basis for this project, my main goal was to design each space to harmonize the elements to create comfortable and attractive spaces.
Focusing on design elements such as light, texture, and color, this home is custom-made for Dr. Grandin and her preferred stimulus levels from the interior spaces.

The Process
The process started with abstract models made from recycled magazine pages. I was then able to sketch architectural and spatial diagrams to plan the space. These diagrams were then refined and developed into floor plans.
